Chain Binders

Need a heavy-duty solution to chain tie-down challenges? Look to Ancra chain binders to make the job quicker and easier. All traditional chain load binders are constructed of drop forged steel for strength and durability and are designed for use with grade 70 transport chain. They are available in traditional lever and ratcheting models, which both feature recoilless models. Finished with an E-coat paint for protection against the elements, our chain binders can endure years of heavy use.

Lever Style

Lever chain load binders allow for chains to be secured onto the hooks on either side of the unit and includes a middle handle with a lever mechanism for tensioning the chain. For tackling heavy-duty chain tie-down challenges, Ancra lever style chain binders provide a simple but effective solution. Made of drop forged steel, our lever chain binders are tough and dependable for years to come. We offer both standard and recoilless models in a variety of size and strength configurations to match your specific application.

Ratchet Style

The ratcheting design for the handles of our chain load binders makes tensioning the chain far easier and faster than traditional chain load binders. Ancra ratcheting chain binders allow for chain to be tensioned and released more quickly and easily than traditional lever chain binders, helping you save time and increase efficiency on the job. Our chain binders are prepared for years of heavy use on the road as they’re made from tough, drop forged steel and come finished with an E-coat paint for protection against harsh environments. Built-in thread stops prevent over-extension of threads and loss of load capacity. Designed to be used with grade 70 chain, our ratchet chain binders get the job done well. Our selection includes standard and heavy-duty models in a range of sizes and strength ratings to match your application.

All Ancra chain binders meet or exceed WSTDA T-6 standards.

WARNING: Failure to follow all instructions may result in serious personal injury, property damage and loss of life. Observe the working load limits as noted below and on tags to determine the number of tie downs and hardware required under federal D.O.T. FMCSA 40 CFR Parts 392-393. Use extreme caution when tensioning load binders to ensure chain links are seated securely in the hook before releasing tension on the load binder.
