4-Inch by 8-Foot Double-Ply Tapered Loop Eye-to-Eye Lifting Sling

As an economical alternative to chain and wire rope for safely lifting heavy-duty cargo, Ancra’s 4-in. x 8-ft. double-ply tapered loop eye-to-eye lifting sling combines light weight with high-strength performance for a quality lifting product. Tapered loops with the eye-to-eye design allow for stronger choke hitches for securing cargo, and they have been reinforced at the bearing points to improve the sling’s durability and reduce wear. The double-ply webbing doubles the standard strength capacities for vertical, choker, and basket configurations compared to our single-ply models, and the polyester build maintains a light weight, minimal stretch, and superior resistance to moisture. To extend the lifespan of the lifting sling a protective wear sleeve has been added, which reduces wear and damage from consistent use.

The 4-in. x 8-ft. double-ply lifting sling complies with WSTDA WS-1-Type IV Wrapped Bearing Point Web Sling standards and includes a visible blue polyester marker thread and industry compliant WSTDA tri-lingual sewn warning tags with a permanent placard affixed to webbing. The lifting sling has the following standard capacities for the three sling variants: Vertical: 11,000 lbs; Choker: 8,800 lbs; Basket: 22,000 lbs.
